
Pastor Robert E. Stanley
Robert E. Stanley was born on April 14, 1951 in Memphis, Tennessee, he graduated from Woodstock High School in Millington, Tennessee. He was on the high school math team where he competed in numerous state wide competitions. He furthered his education attending Tennessee State University (TSU) from 1969 thru 1973, receiving his BA degree with a major in mathematics and minor in music. He was active in all the music programs while at TSU.
Pastor Stanley professed hope in Christ at the early age of 12 and he became a member of Bell Mount Missionary Baptist Church in Millington, Tennessee. In 1975 he became a member of Vine Glenn Missionary Baptist Church. At Vine Glenn, he was an active member of the choir, the bus ministry, a trustee, a singer in the Choir and singer and guitar player for the Vine Glenn Male Ensemble. He served as a deacon for eight years. In 1992 Pastor Stanley moved his membership to Priest Lake Community Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Harold Frelix, Sr., where he accepted the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was licensed July 16, 1995 and ordained March 9, 1997. While at Priest Lake, he served in various ministerial capacities and, ultimately, he became one of the Assistant Pastors. He was assigned to work with St. Andrews C.M.E. Church as the extended pastor for 18 months. In March 2003 he accepted the pastorate of Vine Missionary Baptist Church.
Pastor Stanley and First Lady Brenda were married on December 31, 1974 and are the proud parents of two daughters—Quianda and Torria.
Pastor Stanley's vision is to simply, "Be the New Testament Church of Jesus Christ." His aim is to equip the Saints for the work of the church and to be "Vessels of Honor" for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
